Special forever 2010

Special forever will be back in 2010 with a change in its name, a new website, new projects and a focus on water. We will still be publishing a book of students writing and art at the end of the year but students will also have an opportunity to be published on the website at any time.
Written, visual and multimodal texts can be submitted for the website submitted throughout the year and there will be prizes for the best efforts.

Ever thought of taking a trip from the top of the Murray-Darling Basin in Queensland to the mouth of the Murray in South Australia? In 2010 you’ll be able to take a virtual trip from the source to the sea visiting lots of towns (and schools) along the way. Join the trip and put your school on the map.

Upstream/downstream will link kids across the Basin. Schools can register to be part of an information exchange with a school in another part of the Basin. Use the template to create postcards to send to a school upstream or downstream and compare experiences.

Get ready to take on a Riverbank Challenge - plant trees, test water quality, learn about native fish and birds.

More details about these projects coming soon!
