Win a trip to Japan with the Green Teacher Award

The Green Teacher Award celebrates teachers who have been a positive influence on students by initiating environmental projects within their school community. The aim is to encourage teachers to enliven sustainability education and inspire students to care for the environment. In selecting winners from each Australian State and Territory, the Award draws public attention onto environmental issues that are prevalent across the nation. The selection process also provides the sustainability education sector with a showcase of innovative projects that seek to address environmental issues.

Thanks to our sponsor, Sanyo, the prizes for the 2010 Green Teacher Award are better than ever. Each State and Territory winner will win a 3-day trip to Japan to view the world’s largest solar structure: Sanyo’s Solar Ark!
